This Week

I hate the heat. Summer in the Washington DC area is a hot, muggy, stanky mess! I shower after work and come out sweaty and blue shirt. I want the fall to come back so I feel the cold breeze of winter around the corner store (I've been watching The Wire alot). I hope you have a great day with your class group. I love you and this is probably all I will post today because the crazies are already starting to call in @ 7:20 a.m.

Glorious Rainy Day on Tuesday July 13, 2010

This was all going on outside my door about 30 minutes ago. It has calmed down now and perhaps stopped but I am too lazy to open the door to find out. Such an unfortunate turn of events. I love it when it rains. We really needed this rain too. The area was in a drought or something. I heard this from someone somewhere. I do not watch television nor do I listen to the radio often enough to really know what goes on in the world lately so here I am...loving the rain that simply graced us for half an hour...
